Broken Hands : The New Old Kasabian ?

Broken Hands are the next 'going-to-be-huge' BBC Introducing band.

BBC Introducing bands are incredible. BBC Introducing is incredible. It allows small bands the chance to get listened to and if their good they get local radio play, then national radio play if their good enough. If their truly special, they'll land sets at some of the UK's biggest music festivals, like T In The Park, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, on the BBC Introducing stage.

BBC Introducing in the last few years has given us Royal Blood, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and Lonely The Brave who have all worked their way through BBC Introducing, propelling them and their music into the nations spotlight where they have just taken off.

For most of this year Pretty Vicious have been my favourite BBC Introducing band but now they're sharing that position with Broken Hands, who are like Canterbury’s new-old Kasabian.

Last year Kasabian released '48:13' to mixed reviews. Personally I think the album has strayed from the bands original sound captured on their self titled debut album in 2004. 48:13 isn't a bad album, its just different and some people aren't too fond of the change.

For the people who aren't keen on 48:13, the people who loved 'Kasabian' (the self titled album), Broken Hands may be your new favourite band.

My favourite single from the band so far is 'Meteor' as it easily could be a Royal Blood single, a Kasabian song or even a Noel Gallagher track if it was tweaked a little.

It's dark, alternative-indie-rock and anthemic already.

This band are sure to take and could quiet easily follow Catfish and The Bottlemens success.

The bands debut album 'Turbulence' is out on the 9th of October and looks to be incredible.

If you get the chance, see this band live before the world loves them. They are one of my favourite new bands and are one of the most promising bands for next year.

They're the new band you won't stop hearing people talk about.
