T in the Park 2015 Line Up

T in the Park line up is always incredible this year there's no exception.

T In The Park 2015 Line Up Announcement

In less than fifteen minuets @Tinthepark will announce this years line up, one of my favourite festivals of the summer in its new home this year at Strathallan Castle for the first time.

In the last few years the festivals saw the Killers, Mumford and Sons, Stereophonics, Two Door Cinema Club, the Lumineers, Alt-J, the 1975, Tom Odell and Imagine Dragons take to the stages.

Mumford and Sons are headling Reading and Leeds in August but who will be playing alongside the Liberteens in July at T ?

I'm hoping for Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds because the albums out in early March, the Wombats and maybe Kasabian because of their new releases and hopefully it'll include Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Find Us On Twitter

I enjoy writing, unlike a lot of people, and decided the best way to get this blog found is using social media, so Shybutlovesmusic on twitter was born.

I'm not saying it will be good by any means of the imagination. It'll probably consist of following bands, finding new music and generally getting this blog a wider audience but still now there's a twitter account for this blog too.

It would be amazing to get followers and have people actually commenting on posts etc, just to have a never ending conversation about bands and music pretty much.

All Time Low and You Me At Six Live at the Hydro, Glasgow Review

To all those who question the existence of post concert depression I ask you one question.
Have you ever seen your heroes live, in the flesh, in front of you ?

If you have, see that feeling where you come to realise you might never see them again. Where your happy, elated, but at the same time hit with a sudden sadness ? This is the symptoms of post concert depression.

After last night, where All Time Low and You Me At Six played an incredible gig at the Hydro in Glasgow, I'm still in recovery mode.

Kodaline Second Album Release

In summer 2013 Irish indie-rock quartet Kodaline emerged into the mainstream with their album 'In a Perfect World', which went straight to number one in Ireland, number two in Scotland and number three in the UK official charts.

At the end of last year, in early December the band announced that their new album 'Coming Up For Air' would be released early 2015.

Real Friends Documentary

So yesterday Real Friends uploaded the below video on Youtube and their website with no comment at all, leaving fans to guess what it'll be.

Maybe it'll be a one off or could be the first instalment in a documentary series ? Any ways it's one of the main things I'm looking forward to this month.

Forget Valentines day, Real Friends are much better.

The band are touring so much this year, first with All Time Low in their Europe tour, then with the Maine in April/May in the US.

Busy busy year for this band but they deserve all that comes to them because their amazing. Their full albums filled with heartfelt lyrics and incredible vocals. Adore this band so much.

Catfish and the Bottlemen in the Live Lounge

One thing Catfish and the Bottlemen can't be called is lazy when it comes to performing. On Tuesday Van was on Radio 2 with Jo Whiley and now again the boys are on the radio, this time dominating Radio Ones airwaves in the Live Lounge.

Van's solo acoustic set on Tuesday night was good but today they sounded perfect, even though it was live and a cover they still pulled it off.

Then after a full live lounge they leave for the US to start off their 30 date US tour. Before coming home again to kick off their UK in Leeds on the 23rd of March. So far this year they've already been the support act of the Kooks in their Australian tour. They never seem to be anywhere for long without doing a show but maybe that’s why they've got an ever expanding fan base and what is going to make them huge again in the festivals this year. Maybe everyone should take the Catfish approach to life and always be busy doing something.

Catfish and the Bottlemen Radio 2 with Jo Whiley

Earlier on Van chatted with Jo Whiley, being himself and talking about everything from school, friends, early band life and their first radio play by Steve Lamacq even playing an acoustic version of Kathleen which sounded incredible as ever.

Catfish and the Bottlemen are everywhere

Last year was incredible for Catfish and the Bottlemen. They played loads of festivals worldwide, sold out their full UK tour before their debut album 'The Balcony' was even released.
