Sunday Soundcloud Is Back (again)!

Well if it isn't that time of the year again, where we "try" to make our Sunday Soundcloud a weekly post. ("Try" being the key word.)

Yes, we did try this twice before and yes, we did sort of fail at it both times. (It's difficult okay?) Once again, we're back again trying to make this feature work.

Firstly, we're kicking off with Ravella's brand new track 'Colour Me Sweet'.

We spoke to the guys two years ago (which really doesn't feel that long ago) about their inspirations, advice and their new track at the time 'Momentos & Coke' which you can still read here.

We've got a lot of love for this band. Every time we mention their new tracks you are all over them (just like us) and constantly wanting more new music.

As per usual, we're in love with this track. Perfect for small venue gigs which are always too warm and never fail to kick off with the right song. We said it before and we'll say it again, this band are one of the biggest bands upcoming indie bands of the next few years - and we'll keep saying it until it's proven to be true.

Released earlier today you can check out the video for this track below.

Second track we are desperate to talk about is 'Lies & Deceit' by She's Seventeen.

We've mentioned this band before but if you have never heard of them they are an indie/punk three-piece from South London and this is their debut EP Lies & Deceit'.

We love the sound of this whole EP really but decided to go with the EP's title track for this playlist because it's one of our new favourite tracks and we have played it far too many times already.

Moving on to an artist we haven't written before, we cannot get enough of 'You Said You Needed Time' by Matt Cross. Tagged as 'indie' on Soundcloud we sort of in love with Cross' follow-up track to his 'Better Late Than Never EP' released earlier this year.

Last week we stumbled across Too Close To Touch' latest release 'Leave You Lonely'. Although we've never mentioned them on this blog (up until now) we have reposted their earlier tracks on Soundcloud etc. and have a lot of love for this band.

Too Close To Touch are a six-piece from Lexington, Kentucky signed to one of our favourite US labels, Epitaph Records, and very soon the band will be joining Issues on their US tour.

Yesterday one of our favourite 'mini festivals' kicked off in Glasgow. Giving some of the best local upcoming musicians a stage and festival-like experience, Tenement Trail was back (albeit for one day/night)!

One of our absolute favourite bands at the moment are The Ninth Wave. We've caught them a couple times over the past few years and we are pretty much in love with their previous release 'Reformation'. We've featured them in previous playlists and we're talking about them again because we're in love with their follow-up track 'Liars'. We don't do this band any justice but if you get the chance to catch them live please, do yourself a favour and go to their gig. They're a great band who have a collection of really good tracks sound incredible live - and their Glaswegian - what more could you want?

Finishing off this post and playlist (for now) are our favourites in Rylands Heath. Again, we love this band. We really do. We interviewed them a few months back about influences, first gigs and plans for the rest of 2017 which you can find here and in our first issue with Social Sounds.

If you love indie indie-pop you will love this band. We share our love with BBC Introducing (why we chose this version of the track) who have been championing this band for a while now. If you ask us to name one of our Sound of 2018 picks, you might just be looking at them.

Our full playlist is on Soundcloud (linked below) and every Sunday we'll be adding more of our favourite tracks.
