This year so far, although now nearly over, has turned out some of the best new music compared to the last few years.
Artists like Sam Smith, Catfish and The Bottlemen, The Vamps, 5 Seconds of Summer, James Bay, Indiana, Lonely The Brave, Jess Glynn, Josh Record, Jamie T, George Ezra, Ella Eyre, Coasts and Royal Blood, along with so many more, have exploded from their background residency of last year into this years spotlight.
Radio One's Zane Lowe has compiled the 100 'Hottest Records In The World' for 2014 including artists like You Me At Six, Coasts, Fall Out Boy, Bastille, Alt-J, CHVRCHES, Foo Fighters, Hudson and Taylor, Gorgon City, Coldplay, George Ezra and many many more. Every single 'Hottest Record In The World' since November last year is eligible but only one will be the ultimate single for 2014.
The voting opened at 7pm tonight, and will close next Thursday (27th of November) at 9pm.
