News : Lead up to T in the park 2014

1 week till T in the park, Scotland's largest music festival and one of Britain's most loved summer music festivals.

The first T in the Park was held in Strathclyde park in 1994 with bands like Rage Against the Machine, Blur and Oasis. Since then, the festival had grown incredibly and has been rehoused to Balado airfield in Kinross-shire.
This year is seen to be the last festival at the current site which is a shame as the current site is memorable for many people.

The courier writes "Every year the T in the Park festival site temporarily becomes the equivalent of the fifth largest town in Scotland over the weekend." This shows the shear size of the yearly festival. For many T in the Park signifies the proper start of summer. Schools usually finish a fortnight before the festival and allows those lucky enough to go to prepare for the amazing weekend ahead.

For 2014 the line up is as good as ever. Featuring atrists like the Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Biffy Clyro, Royal Blood, Paolo Nutini, Twin Atlantic, You Me At Six, Kodaline, The 1975, Bombay Bicycle Club, George Ezra, Ben Howard, Chvrches, Twenty One Pilots, Maximo Park, Foxes, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Little Matador, Dan Croll, Wolf Alice, Lonely the brave, King Charles and many more.

I am severely jealous of anyone going to T in the Park this year. It looks amazing and it always blows people away.
