'Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow'

Three years since their first release, and after many months spent supporting huge bands, Young Kato finally release their incredible, highly anticipated debut album 'Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow.'

After signing with LAB Records in June 2012, the Cheltenham six piece released their self titled debut EP which reached number 31 on the Itunes chart on the day of its release. This EP's success alone showed that this band had a lot more to come.

After supporting bands like You Me At Six, Bastille, Swim Deep and Peace on tour in the last few years, Young Kato set off again themselves on a huge UK tour this April.

This band are incredible live, as a main act or support band. I had the joy of seeing them when they supported You Me At Six on their 'Cavalier Youth Tour.' At the time the bands best known single seemed to be 'Drink, Dance, Play' where the band had the full crowd bouncing about within the first few chords.

Young Kato's debut album is incredible sounding. It's full of happiness and the summer feeling, coming from songs like the first single 'Sunshine.' Its a triumph, which can easily be elaborated on. Their indie upbeat tracks stand out in a music society where a lot of musicians seem to dwell on negatives. Its a summer sound track for Ibiza's glorious weather or a sunny reminder for the rainy midlands in June.

On Friday, two days before the albums release the band uploaded an animated video for their albums first single 'Children of the Stars'. In a comment the band explain the video stating "We spoke with a team of animators and they said they would be up for making a piece based around ‘Children Of The Stars’. We were very excited by this and couldn't wait to see what they came up with. We think this is a really interesting interpretation of the song..."

'Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow' Young Kato's incredible debut album is out now available from Itunes and the bands own official site. - and from any other music retailers.
