Possibly the album of the year .. The Balcony by Catfish and the Bottlemen

The date the 15th of September has been in my mind constantly this full year.

Only a week ago Lonely the Brave released 'The Days War' and I have been in love with it ever since. Monday is a new week, and this particular week is pretty important to me.

On Monday, my most anticipated album of the year is released...

Catfish and the Bottlemen's debut album 'The Balcony'.

This album isn't just a debut album where a band collates some early work and releases it. This debut album is a statement. This debut album changes everything.

The track list is just amazing.

1. Homesick
2. Kathleen
3. Cocoon
4. Fallout
5. Pacifier
6. Hourglass
7. Business
8. 26
9. Rango
10. Sidewinder
11. Tyrants

In 11 songs the album captures everything the band stands for, their 6 released singles Homesick, Pacifier, Rango, Kathleen Fallout and Cocoon, previous 'Hottest records in the world' by Zane Lowe and 5 other tracks only usually played by the band live at shows.

This band are ambitious. They've worked for the last seven years for this and now the time has finally come. People have started comparing them to the early Arctic Monkeys but I think their in a league of their own. Their fan base adores them and supports them through everything and in turn the band make the fans proud and happy to be part of this collated-catfish family. The guys are genuinely lovely guys who have grafted hard to come to this point in time where they've released and album and sold out their full UK tour for winter.

To release a debut album and sell out a whole UK tour when this time last year the band only had three singles released is incredible.

Personally I think this album is a huge chart contender and definitely theres a lot more to come from this band.

 This is just the start.
