For the next three days bands like You Me At Six, Paramore, Jimmy Eats the World, Mallory Knox, Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182, Chvches, Bombay Bicycle Club, Catfish and the Bottlemen, The 1975, Deaf Havana, Sleeping with Sirens, Vampire Weekend and so many more will take over the stages at Reading and Leeds this year.
Belows a few of my favourite bands and sets that will be incredible I think.
Paramore headline the festival and this is their only UK date this year. The bands taking a little bit of time off after another huge stint of their 'Monumental Tour' with Fall Out Boy, last years headliners.
You Me At Six return to the festival with their new album 'Cavalier Youth' which came out earlier this year. The band last played the festival in 2012 off the back of their 2011 'Sinners Never Sleep' album.
Twin Atlantic played at home in T in the Park, and now take to the stage at Reading and Leeds, preforming live tracks off their new album the 'Great Divide' which came out only four days ago.
Mallory Knox is one of my favourite bands and to see them play such a festival is utterly incredible. Their sets are always spectacular and their crowds always love them. This year they bring new singles taken off their new album 'Asymmetry' which comes out on the 13th of October.
My absolute favorites have to be the incredible Catfish and the Bottlemen. Everything about them is so original and truthful. The band always have such energy and passion for music, which their crowds always show. For Catfish and the Bottlemen this is just one of many festivals and shows their playing this year. This festival comes at the bands turning point. Their debut album 'The Balcony' is released on the 15th of September, before going back on the road for their huge November - December tour in the UK. Their tour looks incredible and its selling out so quickly its unreal. After the winter UK tour the band head off to America.
This band are going to be huge.
Reading and Leed's is going to be on BBC Three, the red button and online on BBC Iplayer. - In the UK.
