Canterbury's new album 'Dark Days'

Yesterday Canterbury, Hampshire's incredible alternative rock creation, released their third album 'Dark Days'.

Canterbury Dark Days album cover - Jan 2014
We've waited two years for this new album, after the initial love affair sparked by the debut album 'Thank You' in 2009 and only furthered by 'Heavy In The Day' from 2012.

Since December the band have teased us with their album trailer videos. One by one luring us further into becoming desperate for this albums release.

Now however, in this glorious new year, the torment is finally over.

Yesterday 'Dark Days' was released (in the UK). For me this is my favourite new album of 2014 - mind you its only been 15 days long so far.

The tracklist I think is incredible.

1. Expensive Imitation
2.  Keep It Moving
3.  All My Life
4.  Satellite
5.  Hold Your Own
6.  Think It Over
7.  By The Trail
8.  Elephant
9.  Run From A Gun
10. Out From The Cold
11. Going Nowhere
12. See The Sun (iTunes Exclusive)

My absolute favorite song from the album has to be either 'Expensive Imitation' or 'Think It Over' - I adore both.

This album hopefully will be a triumph for the band. I cannot wait to see what else comes from this band - hopefully festival main stages, huge arena tours filled with screaming fans and people who can appreciate alternative rock music for what its worth.
