So when an amazing sounding band are from Edinburgh I'm instantly going to listen to them, because they're closer to home and are brave enough to say their from Scotland in the first place.

When someone says publicly that their an unsigned artist it says a few things about them. Not that their a bad musician but that they love their work and that the right people haven't heard them yet. In a sense its better to hear an unsigned band because when they get signed and famous you've supported them from the every start. That's one reason why I love this band so much.
