Our Spotify Summer Rewind

Last summer was pretty special for us. Working at some of our best-loved festivals for the first time, we felt proud and were ecstatic from June 'til September.

Last year we created a summer playlist of our favourite tracks and lived off it alone for a few weeks. However, we listened to a lot more than those 25 songs last summer, as our Spotify Summer Rewind proves.

We're glad Spotify have included this feature because it's allowing us to refind tracks we absolutely loved this time last year, such as The Manatees 'Avoiding Glances', Nieves 'Performing Arts', multiple tracks from Pronto Mama, Misfires and A LOT of Rat Boy.

Summer 2017 was special for us for a number of reasons. We headed to XpoNorth two days after finishing uni for the summer. We spent a weekend at Slam Dunk festival. We spent many nights at King Tuts Summer Nights watching some of our favourite musicians play the legendary venue and hope to have just as big a summer this year.

Our June Playlist may be out now, but we're bringing our Summer Playlist out in the coming weeks. Among crashing through our third year reading lists, we'll be bringing you our favourite sets from the festivals we aren't going to along with the tours we think you should be going to between festival weekends. (One year we'll make it to Reading and Leeds!)

For now here is our Summer Rewind, curated by Spotify based on our listening habits last summer.
