My favourite band once again are Welsh, this time its Pretty Vicious. Hailing from Merthyr Tydfil with a collective age of under 20, Pretty Vicious are going to be huge next year.
Welsh bands have something special. Every so often an incredible band appears from the country of just over 3 million people. Bands like Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, Lostprophets, Kids In Glass Houses, the Blackout have proved to us Wales has a lot to offer. Only this year, Llandunnos best Catfish and the Bottlemen proved to us a little welsh band can go a long way, conquering the USA and UK with sell out tours this year.
Pretty Vicious seem to be on the same road to success. Finding fans young through BBC Introducing this band seem to go from strength to strength. This year alone they've embarked on their own headline UK tour and supported the likes of Swim Deep, Nothing But Thieves and the Manic Street Preachers on their date at Cardiff Castle, while set to play alongside Noel Gallagher and Johnny Marr at the O2 Apollo in Manchester part of Radio X's roadtrip.
Tonight they released another increible single, 'Are You Ready For Me', crowned the Hottest Record In The World by Annie Mac.
This band are destined for greatness, and this is just the beginning.
