In 2013 George Ezra played at
Glastonbury at the BBC Introducing Stage and played an incredible
set. In the last few weeks he has become a household name, with his
single's 'Budapest' and 'Did You Hear the Rain ?' being played a lot
on the radio. His single 'Budapest' went to number one in New Zeland
and Austria.
In October 2013, Geogre Ezra released his debut EP “Did You Hear the Rain ?” through Sony Music, which charted at number 10 on Itunes. His second EP “Cassy O' ” was released March this year which saw him find a larger audience.
He has
supported Lianne La Havas and Tom Odell on tour, and 33 days ago he releasedhis debut album 'Wanted on Voyage' was released showcasing his
musical style. Ezra claims Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan were amoung
his musical influences.
Ezra is different compared to many
other musicans. His voice is bass-baritone, which makes it sound like
it belongs to someone a lot older, even though he's only 21, and this gives its bluesy sound.
Ezra is an amazing musician who uses simplicity and vocal ability to make people love his music and in-turn support him.
